Beechers, a Queen Anne-style shingled house with a central gable was designed by Peabody and Sterns. This historic cottage contains a mix of 25 guestrooms and suites that feature cloud-like bedding and vintage bathrooms.

History

Beechers is the most historic building on the property. In 1882, United States Naval Captain John S. Barnes, Flag Officer of the North Atlantic Fleet during the Civil War, purchased the land next to Wyndhurst and erected Coldbrooke, now known as Beechers.

Beechers has 25 guest spaces: seven King Rooms, 13 Double Queen Rooms, one ADA Double Queen, two King Junior Suites, and two Double Junior Suites.

Beechers King or Two Queens Room

Enjoy a 430-450 square-foot, classic room furnished with one king bed or two queen beds and Tudor-style interior décor. Other amenities include a Tibetan singing bowl, stacking stones, and a meditation cushion.
